Workshop overview
In this foundational workshop, co-founders of Community Academy will teach you how ambassadors and influencers can become powerful extensions of your community. We'll explore the core principles of relationship-driven programs and how they fit into an effective community strategy.
You’ll learn how to identify and define different types of relationships, and how to design programs that feel organic, human-led, and brand-aligned.
We’ll cover practical steps for getting started, proven techniques for building trust, and the key operational principles needed to run ambassador and influencer programs effectively. You’ll also learn how to measure the success of your efforts using both qualitative and quantitative frameworks so you can communicate clear value internally and optimize over time.

What to expect
This session is designed to be interactive and workshop-style, with hands-on exercises, practical tools, and guided discussion throughout. You’ll collaborate with fellow attendees as we move through the material together, whether you’re joining in-person or virtually.
For in-person guests, we’ll begin with time to mix and mingle over light refreshments from 9:00–9:30am, with the workshop running promptly from 9:30–11:30am PT.

Christa + Michelle are the co-founders of Community Academy and longtime practitioners of community-led marketing.
With decades of experience building and scaling community-based strategies, they’ve helped iconic brands like lululemon, Athleta, and Saje Natural Wellness foster deep loyalty, authentic advocacy, and sustained growth.
As workshop hosts, Christa and Michelle bring a rare blend of strategic rigor and real-world application — translating what actually works in practice into clear, actionable learning you can apply immediately.
